June 15 is Nature Photography Day, an initiative created by the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA) to celebrate the art of nature photography while raising awareness about how it can help inspire conservation efforts.
Now in its 15th year, Nature Photography Day has become a worldwide phenomenon. Photographers of all skill levels are invited to take part by getting outside and snapping a photo or two.
Here at The Weather Network, we are fortunate to have an audience that consists of many thoughtful and creative photographers. Here are some of our favourite nature photos that have been sent to us over the years.
And if you have an image or video you’d like to share, we invite you to upload it to The Weather Network. You might see your work on TV!
