News Highlights: IUP Graduate Gifts $ 25,000 For IUP Computer Science Students | Lifestyle

INDIANA, Pa. Barry A. Day, an applied mathematics graduate of 1972 originally from Somerset, has donated $ 25,000 to IUP to support outstanding computer science majors in the Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences.
Day, now of Cape Coral, Florida, is the owner and president of Barry Day Associates, which serves public and private sector entities to solve some of their most complex program management and leadership problems. Founded in 2009, the company provides services and support to US-based commercial clients and government agencies and other select assignments around the world.
The Barry Day Outstanding Computer Science Student Award is presented to a senior computer science student, selected by the department, who has demonstrated academic achievement and contributions to the department.
