Dusk in Montparnasse 23 x 30″ Oil
My grandparents who lived in Paris were being a wonderful inspiration to me. They liked art. The partitions of their household ended up adorned with many paintings. My grandpa took me with him to take a look at some artists’ studios and museums and also to concerts and plays. I keep in mind doing some wood sculpting (very tough) working with the quite a few resources he had. My aunt was singing in a choir and a quite shut friend of her and the relatives was a renowned cellist.
There was a definite emphasis on all forms of art and cultural education and learning (artwork, writing, music, performing, etc.) in large faculty and then in school. I imagine that, in my personal experience, it was and still is considerably stronger in France than in this article.
