The pandemic might have lowered our spirits down, but Dubai’s back-to-back art scenes have brought a wave of relief to artistic people and enthusiasts of art alike. First Art Dubai 2021 and now with World Art Dubai, the region is sure basking in creative hues.
The much-awaited affordable and accessible art exhibition –World Art Dubai 2021 finally kick-started on Wednesday, with hundreds of visitors making their way to the Dubai World Trade Centre to get a glimpse of their favourite artists.
Attracting enthusiastic response from the local, regional and international art community, the art exhibition is a boost to the region’s ever-growing art and culture community. So, to encourage the artists from across the globe who have been presenting their work at World Art Dubai, Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum visited and inaugurated the 7th edition of World Art Dubai 2021. Followed by the inauguration, Sheikha Latifa visited some of the art booths and also interacted with the artists.

With strict health and safety measures, this year’s World Art Dubai collection comprises works by over 250 artists and galleries hailing from 27 countries including Israel, Nigeria, Malaysia and Uzbekistan, who will join show stalwarts from the UK, India, Russia and more.
On the opening day, visitors basked into various art forms and activities of more than 2,000 original contemporary artworks in different genres. Ranging from mixed media, photography and sculpture to graffiti and digital art to segments dedicated to public-friendly displays themed on fashion, music, dance and sustainability, World Art Exhibition has been another place for the art aficionados of Dubai.
